Marketing and Communication

As member Marketing and Communication, you are responsible for the smooth communication of AFD news and principles to the outside world (students, partners, sympathizers, etc.). It is your task that students and the public in general know and understand what AFD stands for, what AFD’s values are and that they are aware of the upcoming events and projects. Finally, you have to make sure that AFD is always transparent and correct in its communication. 

• – Ability to commit to this position for one academic year
• – Ability to attend one weekly board meeting

• – You are responsible for the AFD image by designing all of our marketing material such as posters, flyers, facebook banners, etc.
• – You are responsible for developing the newsletter
• – You are responsible for keeping social media channels such as Facebook and Instagram up to date
• – You keep the website up to date
• – You arrange new ways to promote AFD
• – Together with the Event Manager you work on ways to promote the events.
• – You have an active role in recruitment periods by being responsible for the promotion campaign

• – You are a bachelor or master student in communication or marketing
• – You are creative with words and stories
• – You have an excellent knowledge of French and English
• – You have a good good knowledge (or willingness to learn) of graphical software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.
• – You are able to work organised and precisely
• – You believe in AFD’s vision and mission and you cannot wait to tell the rest of the world about it
