Global Impact Night

Our Global Impact Night, or GIN, is an event where AFD project students present the progress they have made for their projects. Our students worked during a year to be fully prepared for the implementation phase in the summer and to make sure that they can have a real and tangible impact.
Furthermore, the current projects are presented as well as next year’s projects. With the presentation of the future projects we hope to attract interested students for next year. In the hope to create diverse and high performing project teams.
We will not only give the floor to our students, we also wanted to take the opportunity to organise a panel discussion with speakers that have expertise in Global South Cooperation and development issues. This way we hope to inform the audience more about certain topics and make a link with the projects we are supporting.
Later on, there will be a reception with booths from the project students and AFD where everyone is free to drink and eat some dessert while asking questions and inquiring about additional information.
